There are more "best AI tools" listicles than there are actually useful AI tools. Most of them are SEO bait — affiliate links wrapped around shallow descriptions written by someone who never opened the software. We've all clicked one, scrolled through it, and left more confused than when we started.

Toolbase is built around one rule: we only review tools we'd actually use ourselves to run a one-person business. That means real testing, real workflows, honest "this doesn't work" calls when warranted, and head-to-head comparisons that go beyond marketing screenshots.

Who this is for
